The name Mind Sounds Marketing was inspired by one of our favorite marketers and writers, Seth Godin. On the cover of Seth’s 18lb book, appropriately nicknamed The Titan, you’ll find this question in bold print:
“What Does It Sound Like When You Change Your Mind?”
It got us thinking.
You can’t hear even the most significant change in someone’s mind. An a-ha moment, an epiphany ... a tipping point realized. Our most important thoughts arrive the same way as the mundane ones.
Silently.
Yet the most monumental insights that shape our major life decisions, innovations and changes in direction begin as simple thoughts.
Wouldn’t it be great if that Eureka! made a big sound? If it could wave a big flag in the air to say “this is it!” “Pay attention!”

Katie has been a practicing marketer for 20+ years, working in and for organizations both big and small in healthcare tech, medical device, pharma and adjacent fields.
She is a summa cum laude graduate of St. Vincent College and received a MBA from Duquesne University.
Katie completed Carnegie Mellon University’s Leadership Academy through the Tepper School of Business Executive Education program and is a certified and trained facilitator through Development Dimensions International, Inc. (DDI).
She considers herself to be a brand champion, and specializes in market segmentation, brand positioning, go-to market strategy and marketing plan activation.
Katie lives in the Pittsburgh area with her husband and two sons.
